What is Individual Counselling?

Entering into individual therapy can be a stressful decision to make and deciding to talk to a stranger about your worries can be both daunting and difficult, especially if you prefer to keep things to yourself, and say “I’m fine”.

These same worries, such as; stress, work related issues, loss of purpose or direction, relationship issues, can also have a major negative impact on your mental wellbeing.

Counselling is about providing a safe and confidential space, to be seen and heard so to talk freely, without judgement or blame about: resolving issues; working through painful challenges, beliefs and/or perceptions; recovering from an upsetting experience/s; labouring through emotional, behavioural relationship problems.

By agreeing to meet privately and regularly, for your counselling sessions, whether it is weekly, fortnightly or tailored to your needs, you will be supported to gain a better understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, which will open up new possibilities towards you wanting to heal, change, or develop, for your future self.
